One Cup at a time...

Hidden away in the sleepy seaside suburbs of Moreton Bay Region is ‘Smooth Cravings,’ arguably the most iconic gourmet smoothie shop in Australia – and in it, the shops equally iconic owner Andy McCutcheon - ‘The King of Smooth’. In 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, with rolling lockdown’s and stay at home orders, Andy’s wife Shaye had the vision to provide ‘healthy food options for active people on the go’ and Smooth Cravings was born.

The ‘King of Smooth’

Andy, owner and co-founder of Smooth Cravings is a former Special Forces soldier, Pilot and celebrity bodyguard who was working overseas in Aerospace & Defence when he had his ‘jet-set’ lifestyle crimped by government-imposed travel restrictions during Covid and as a result, ended up working full-time in their smoothy shop. It wasn’t long before he streamlined products and processes and innovated new healthy food options while growing the Smooth Cravings brand online with his 13K followers on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook with his high-energy ‘breakfast of champions’ posts.

Smooth beginnings

Andy & Shaye’s commitment to the local community led to a move in 2022 from their original location to their new beachfront location in Bellara. Their commitment to bringing their customers the most innovative nutritional products has resulted in the inclusion of their new healthy version of the trendy ‘Bubble Teas’ and ‘Boba Milk Teas,’ popularised in Taiwan and throughout Southeast Asia.
